who we are?
We’re Estela and Cuesta — two wine-loving villagers from San Asensio, La Rioja. After years of living, studying, and traveling around the world, we felt the pull to come back home. Not just to live in the village again, but to reconnect with its people, traditions, and heartbeat. That’s how Planeta Pueblo was born: from the desire to help others experience what makes village life so magical. We are actively involved in local associations — organizing the Wine Battle, dancing with the giants and bigheads, preserving our traditions, and building community every day.In 2024, we were awarded the Best Rural Entrepreneurship Project by Caixabank’s Tierra de Oportunidades program — a recognition of how much love and effort we’ve poured into this dream.
